Labour Bank Inauguration – Financial aid for Labourers – Eparchy of Kothamangalam

The Labour Movement of the Eparchy of Kothamangalam is initiating a novel Venture–Pravasi Labour Bank Data Collection–to extend possible assistance and guidance to the unemployed expatriates and other group badly affected by the economic slow down caused by the pandemic Covid 19.

Besides expatriates the beneficiaries include those working abroad under pressing circumstances, out of state guest workers returning to Kerala seeking job opportunities andstudents facing various problems during their higher studies both outside Kerala and abroad.
Here it may observed that those who have worked abroad at least for two years or currently working there are eligible to join the State Government’s expatriate Welfare Fund and receive the benefits allotted to them.
For all these what I fundamental is to set up a Labour Bank at the Diocesan level to identi those in need of assistance.

The entry forms for registration to the Bank can be had from the Diocesan Labour Movement Website https://klmkothamangalameparchy.com
it has been prepared with the objective of collecting data from all the categories mentioned above in order to support them in all possible ways at the time of this great crisis.
