കഴക്കൂട്ടം മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ജനവിധി തേടുന്ന ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ജനിച്ചു വളർന്ന ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽഹെൽത്ത് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടറും ഹെൽത്ത് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെൻ്റിൽ ലീഗൽ അഡ്വൈസറും പിന്നേട് ഹൈക്കോടതി അഭിഭാഷകനും ഒക്കെ ആയി മാറിയ ശ്രീ.സദാശിവൻ്റെ മകൻ .

ഡോ.എസ് എസ് ലാൽതിരുവനന്തപുരം പേട്ട സർക്കാർ സ്കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടിയ ശേഷം സെൻ്റ് ജോസഫ് സ്കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽB.Sc വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ കാലത്ത് എസ് എഫ് ഐ യുടെ ചുവപ്പ് കോട്ടയായിരുന്ന തിരുവനന്തപുരം യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി കോളേജ് ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യമായി KSU വിന് നേടിക്കൊടുത്ത്യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി കോളേജ് യൂണിയൻ ചെയ്മാൻ ആയി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽതിരുവനന്തപുരം ഗവൺമെൻ്റ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് MBBS നേടിയ ഡോ.എസ് എസ് ലാൽതിരുവനന്തപുരം ഗവൺമെൻ്റ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ KSU വിൻ്റെ യൂണിയൻ ചെയർമാനായിരുന്ന ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽകോൺഗ്രസിനെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചുള്ള കേരള സർവകലാശാല സെനറ്റ് മെമ്പർ ആയിരുന്ന ഡോ.എസ് എസ് ലാൽ നിലവിൽ പ്രൊഫഷണൽ കോൺഗ്രസ്സിൻ്റെ സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡൻറ് ആയ ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽFather of International Law എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന”Hugo Grotious ” എന്ന നയതന്ത്ര വിദഗ്ധൻ .

.1590 കളിൽ പഠിച്ച് ”Doctor of Law ” എന്ന ഡിഗ്രി നേടിയതും 1575 ൽ നെതർലണ്ടിൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായി ഇന്നും ലോക പ്രസിദ്ധിയാർജ്ജിച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നതുമായ University of Leiden എന്ന സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് Public Health ൽ ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് നേടിയ ഡോ. എസ് എസ് ലാൽഅദ്ദേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചുരുക്കം ചില വിവരങ്ങൾ കൂടി ചേർക്കുന്നു .
