Ms Preeti Sudan, Health Secretary was the Deputy Chair of the Board Meeting of The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health , held through virtual platform today. She highlighted the difficulties faced by women, children & adolescents in accessing various services during #COVID19 pandemic

.She stated that national level guidance has been issued to the States for ensuring that women, children & adolescents continue to get all the services. Centre is constantly in dialogue with the States to ensure that these service remain in focus despite the #COVID19 epidemic.

She said that it is important to protect & promote the health, well-being & rights of women, children & adolescents through strengthened political commitment, policies, resource mobilization & financing.
