‘Onam Ponnonam’ is an enchanting and rhythmic Onam Song performed and composed by renowned Music Director, Alphons, under the banner, Crossroads Music India Pvt Ltd. A fusion folk Onam song, this upbeat melody captures the wide kaleidoscope of the colours and flavours of Malayali’s favourite spring festival. The Lyrics of the song was chosen by a panel of esteemed judges headed by prominent Film Lyricist, Jyothish T Kassi and Alphons Joseph from the numerous entries via the popular Lyric Writing Contest, “Onappaatin Eenam”. The winning entry was penned by a Malayali NRI, Gijoy George, native of Kidangoor, Kottayam, who works as a teacher in Doha- Qatar. The picturization of the song was shot as a Music Video around the Vembanad lake, Kumbalangi, Kochi.
