Kochi. The Pro Life Apostolate has welcomed the central government’s “Good Samaritan” scheme, which saves lives by urgently taking those involved in road accidents to hospitals.
The five-fold increase in the amount of compensation for those who help people who are injured in road accidents and do not ignore them and pass by, even when they are crying, is a clear indication of the social commitment of Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and the central government, and the scheme to provide medical assistance of Rs. 1.5 lakh in the first hour to those involved in road accidents should be clarified, said Executive Secretary Sabu Jose.

He informed that the Pro Life Apostolate will also honor those who implement the example of the Good Samaritan mentioned in the Bible in their lives.
